ABOUT OUR HOME INSPECTIONS

All home inspection services include Full Thermal Imaging Scans performed with FLIR cameras.

If your building inspector is not using Full Thermal Imaging Scans during your inspection, you may be missing important details.  FLIR cameras use infrared imaging to capture pictures of high definition wavelengths, which allows us to view and document variations in temperature. Infrared cameras are invaluable tools for home inspectors, which is why I use them for all home inspection services. They are of particular importance when it comes to multi-unit buildings, such as condos.

Thermal imaging scans allow us to detect heat loss at key points, including doors, windows, ceilings, walls, and floors. While I are delivering a surface-only inspection, infrared cameras can oftentimes assist in detecting hard-to-discover leaks in pipes, walls, roofs, insulation, and heating and cooling systems.

If you are a real estate agent who has never used Power Check Home Inspections, PLLC’s services before, the 1st client you refer to us will receive a $30 discount!

HOME INSPECTION SERVICES

Standard Home Inspections

Whether you’re interested in buying a home to live in, rent, or sell, I will inspect it and let you know exactly what condition your potential property is in.  You cannot make informed decisions without proper information, which is why I meet and exceed the State of Texas’ Standards of Practice.

Pre-Listing Inspections

For one, you do not want to be surprised during negotiations. You also want the sale of your property to go as quickly and smoothly as possible. Importantly, you could also save a substantial amount of money by having repairs taken care of before you put your home on the market.

Multi-Unit Inspections

While I are only performing surface-only inspections, our Full Thermal Imaging Scans are an indispensable tool for multi-unit dwellings.

Phased New Construction Inspections

In order to be sure that the finished product is free from defects, hire us to inspect the building during various phases of its construction. You will save a considerable amount of time and money by having us inspect it before the foundation is complete and the concrete is poured, prior to the installation of the framing and insulation, when mechanical and other elements can be inspected, and when the building is complete but you have not yet held your final walk through.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Wood Destroying Insect Inspections

Before purchasing a home, you will want to schedule a WDI inspection so that I can check for signs of termite damage and the possibility that other pests have invaded the home you intend to inhabit. We align ourselves with licensed professionals to perform this service for you at the same time as your inspection.

Pool & Spa Inspection

Pools and spas are a great asset, but their complex systems require more than just checking that the chemical levels are correct. We will inspect components including pumps, motors, filters, drains, heaters, piping, valves, water sources, lighting, electrical wiring, ladders, slides, and diving boards to make sure you can relax and take a dip or a dive.

Septic Inspection

We will locate your septic tank, report on its level and condition, and let you know whether and when flushing will be necessary.
